Much like the recent storm swept through the northern region the night before, City swept Manchester United aside at the Etihad. It was a convincing three goal win for their manager's side thanks to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a performance that clearly signaled their title credentials as they reinforced their place at the top of the table.
